I have been scalping, that is taking advantages of small but sure moves on the S&P and the EUR/USD currency pair. Trades that take less than two hours. I tweet them. what is the flaw in not using stop losses but instead risking only two percent of your account everytime ina trade and wait for it to eventually be profitable? (what are the chances that you get margin called when you put ina 1000 dollar trade with a 50 000 account?)

Whatever your system of entry and exit, there are four sorts of results:
- Small wins
- Small losses
- Big wins
- Big losses
As winning or losing is essentially random, the only way a system can be profitable, is by cutting the big losses before they become big. That is why you need a stop loss.
Your question about the margin call is impossible to answer, without knowing your leverage.

Question by E. E: How to use Forex Strategy Builder !?
I have successfully installed Forex Strategy Builder but I have not idea how to use the software to test my strategies, in terms of how to make the simulated market work, how to place buy and sell orders, and how to add and remove indicators. I have tried using the help tool that came with the software but it just explains what everything is, it does not show me how to use the software. I need to know how to use it. Any help would be most appreciated. Thanks.
